The Mabank ISD Education Foundation understands the role educators play in the education of students in our district. To support these hard-working educators in this role, the Mabank ISD Education Foundation offers a grant program to provide financial support for innovative, enriching educational ideas and programs. The Innovative Grant Portal opens each October and recipients are announced during the mid-year convocation in January.

Recognition & Appreciation

• Emerging Educator Recognition

The MEF recognizes how challenging that first year can be for educators, especially setting up a new classroom. To help offset some of those costs, the MEF awards gift cards.

• Teacher of the Year

Each spring a Teacher of the Year is selected for each campus in Mabank ISD. The MEF recognizes those teachers at the annual Cedar Creek Lake Chamber of Commerce banquet. Each teacher is awarded a $100 gift certificate to a chamber member of his or her choice.

• Educator of Influence Dinner

The MEF hosts a dinner each spring to recognize educators who have made an impact on our students. These Educators of Influence are selected by the Top 20 graduates each year. Graduates 

• Monthly Appreciation Breakfast

The MEF partners with sponsors to provide a breakfast meet-and-greet each month. Foundation members, along with breakfast sponsors, pick a different campus or department each month and provide breakfast and welcome staff and students.
